As I mentioned yesterday, I have photographed--no snapped-- the pieces I've been working on over the last couple of days. These 6 barns are each done on burgundy pastel paper, 8" by 8". I frame them with a 3 inch mat and blonde wood frame. I kinda like 'em all together!
This is my framing station. Right now it has panels drying on it--they await a final varnish.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful barns!
ReplyDeleteI love Barns. I used to daydream about writing and photgraphing a barn book when I used to travel from St Louis to my Gram's home in Advance, Mo. I even named it "on the way to Gram's house", Original, huh? :)
Thanks for sharing. I'm so intrigued by your work and enjoy keeping up with it.
Thanks so much! I, too, love barns. And Missouri has some great ones. I'm always bummed when we're driving through and it is overcast as I love capturing the play of light and shadow on the barns. I'm not sure where Advance is but I think I need to travel from STLouis to Advance sometime soon--preferably on a sunny day!
